How to apply for the $10,000 Boost

To receive the Boost you must:

• meet the eligibility criteria, and
• lodge an application or give notice of intention to claim no later than 31 August 2012. Find out more about Building Boost application timeframes.

You can apply for the Queensland Building Boost Grant through an approved lodger or directly to the Office of State Revenue.

Note: If you are an owner builder or purchasing off the plan, you must apply directly to the Office of State Revenue.

To lodge an application with the Office of State Revenue, follow these steps.

1. Check your eligibility by taking the Boost eligibility test.
2. Complete your application by:
   • reading the application guide (PDF 765 K)
   • If you are unable to provide all of the required supporting documentation because the eligible transaction will not be finalised by 31 August 2012, you must lodge a Notice of Intention (PDF 370 K) by that date; or
   • If the transaction has been finalised and you are able to provide all of the required supporting documentation by 31 August 2012, you must complete the application form (PDF 420 K).
3. Submit your application by following the lodgement instructions in the application guide. Please ensure you enclose all the supporting documentation required for your application.
